When you find Machine Embroidery Needles
on Sale, Stock up on them. Remember to
change needles often and to use the
correct size. I usually use an Universal
80, 90 as well as an Embroidery 75 & 90.
It depends on the fabric whether you
choose either the embroidery or
universal needle. Sometimes if you are
embroidering on a knit, you will need a
ball point needle. Also keep some 60's,
70's, a 100 & a 110 on hand. I keep a
few of each but I stock up on the U 80,
90 & the Embroidery 75 & 90.
Also, if you find a good sale, get a few
twin needles, and other specialty
needles. I keep my new needles in the
case they came in. Partially used
needles I keep in a case that you can
get at the notions department. I usually
leave a thread in it to remind me that I
have already used it. The dull needles I
discard. |
